Hello Inventory Liaisons - You are the guardians of TAUC. People think that equipment and supplies magically appear, but it really comes down to your diligence and focus. Your name is often invoked only when there is a problem or shortage, but that's because as an IL you have earned a vital role in setting the team up for success. Keep up the great work.

Check Expiration of Lab Specimen Containers & discard/order as appropriate *

BAT and Drug Screen Supplies Checked & Order Placed if necessary

Oxygen Tanks with less than 200psi have been taken to TAUC 14 and exchanged for a new tank (where available).

Verify all open vials are dated (with "EXP: date"). If not dated, date appropriately with the date of your last vial sweep.

Evaluate and replenish the billing department cards and site address labels throughout the facility. Shortages and order requests should be reported to the Front Desk Inventory Team (fdinventory@tauc.com) on a weekly basis.

Green or Gray Coverall Binder entries have been addressed and/or resolved and cleaning survey has been completed *

Cup and syringe used for pediatric med reconstitution are both discarded

Check the AED, 12-Lead EKG Machine, and verify that there are 2 c collars on the EKG cart.

I have replaced any lightbulbs in need of changing.

(Due between the 25th and the 2nd of every month) An email was sent to the Inventory Manager and Lead Inventory Liaison listing all AS Medications which reflected a gain or loss of 5 or greater.

(First report of every month) Evaluate that the location has enough paper prescription pads (at least 1 full pad or 2 partial pads). Shortages and order requests should be reported to fdinventory@tauc.com when doing the Full RediRx Inventory counts.

Check the Eye Tote for Proparacaine. If found, return it to the workstation refrigerator.

Review Inventory List on "UCG Inventory Special Considerations" Google Sheet and place Hybrent Order as necessary.

Reviewed the Loading Dock tab on Inventory Special Considerations.

Receive Orders in Hybrent

Check the site's supply of Dermabond, GelFoam, and the nasal foreign body extractor located in the workstation narc cabinet & place order if necessary.

Update the TAUC DSR Tracker Google Sheet for my site, and I understand that this is to be completed daily.

Update TAUC Equipment Counts

My location has no expiring supplies (including medications and vaccines).

I have discarded all non-controlled medications expiring within the following 13 days. I have moved any controlled medications to the black narcotic overstock cabinet and have affixed an “Expired - Do not use” note to the item.
